Anne Frank Blog question :7 Waht do you think this play reveals about our need of freedom? ...

I think this play reveals and shows how important is freedom. The play's theme is like captured and what condition frank's were. They can't even have a freedom of bathroom during day and freedom to talk (above whisper), go out play, laugh, buy, have fun, ride bike, go to school, and even freedom to live. This play refers that while the Holocasut, not only killed but forbidden the freedom of the Jews. The play mostly shows the act while they are secret annex and it shows how bad they were without freedom. One of example is Cinderalla. Cinderalla also is treated bad and is forbidden to go to the ball to dance. She feels very restrict and she can't even have fun but only help her sisters and her step-mother. I think by watching this play, we could find that how freedom is important and how people would be without freedom.

Anne Frank Blog question number:5 Do Anne and Peter seem to have typical teenage attitudes toward their families? Go back to the text for examples to

Anne and Peter shows their teenage attitudes because first, Anne acts naughty or inmature and I think she is puberty because she is very disrespectful to everyone and have some interest in boys such as Peter. On page, 387, 2 colum, Anne says: "Remember Mr.So-and-So, rember I'm a lady" and that is very rude to say that to adult. Even Anne says naming or calling words to Peter that why did she had to meet that boy and lock up in the secret Annex.

Peter shows teenage acts toward his family and also to Frank's family. First, he doesn't finish his assignment and only cares about cat shows that he think he is old enough to handle those things. On page, 385 second colum, when Mrs.Van Daan says that Anne will be Peter's future wife, Peter gets embrassed and I think Peter is in pubertiy and shows interest in girls. In the book, Peter seems to have relationship with Anne but in the movie we saw in class, Peter seems to show lack of interest to Anne but shows lots of interest to Margot

Question number6 (I'm doing this first becasues I didn't read the text book far enough to answer question number 5 last quesrion or so)

I think that it is beasue that because people want to show how horrible it was and unfair for Jews. It is similar to Japan conquering Korea. Japan took Korea and killed so many people. I remember that my cousing saying the Japanese had lunge a dagger inside your tumbnails!!! Korea got conquered for no reason. As same, the Jews got unfairly treatyed with no reason but because they are Jews. Also, Holocasut itself wasn't just killing of Jews but it also meant that Jews are lower than other and they must be mistreated. Jews want to show how unfairly they were treated. The Holocasut not only gave physically damge but also on social, emotional, and mental damges to Jews. The Jews peopel lost their families, lost their house, always had to where or put the Star of David. Jews they self could noit accept that they are lower than others and I think that is why there are more books and movies because they want to show that the villians are not us and we are the one who got damaged.

Anne Frank BLog question number 5 the "i: question (Why might the writers have chosen to change or invent these details? DO you think it’s acceptable)

I think ther must be siome fictions orv parts that author had made. It is because some part, the story couold not fit. For example, if there is evidence that Anne hated Mr.Van daan but there is no evidence of why, the story doesn't match and it is no sense that Anne hates Mr.Vaan daan. So the author made up a story such as Mr.Van Dan stoled Anne's food or other things that made Anne mad. Other things could be inappropriate to show in the book or tell others pubicily and such as top secret things. It is like editing in film. When they filmed inappropriate things or miskaken, they change it. This is a true story so even the movie based on true movie such as "Fantastioc holiday(화려한 휴가)" based on the Gwangjui(Kwangju) Democraitazation movement. I think it is good way to change because the producers must keep the law or restrict area. For example, the Anne Frank's diary movie was 12years old rate and there are some sexually abuse or violence on physically or even language must be cjhange because then, if they kept all the informnation as real, it woujld have been rated 19 years old as rated r.

Anne Frank Blog question 5: d

The list of conflicts that occured or happende at thwe end of scence 3 is first, that when Peter cuts off the star of david and Anne says that she want to but she can't throw hers in the stove because she have a weird feeling that why can't she throw the the star of David in the fire. It is internal cconflict becasue sshe is fighting mostly herself because her mind or brain wants to throw away she can't physically. This conflict can be dangeours really because if she accidently throws the star of David to the fire, she want to get it back, she would try to get the star and she could lead to a big fire and the secret annex could burn also.
The second conflict is also internal conflict. When Anne is forbidden to go out even at night. She fights with how caged feeling she is and she feels like she is in prison. This conflicts could be dangerous because when Anne could not hold the caged feeling, she could go mad or out of mind. That could lead to physical violence, making the secret annex more noticed.

Anne Fank blog question number 5: b

The hardest part of secert annex was that the need to kep silent for for hours at a time. They weren't even allowed to use the w.c or the water closet or the bathroom. Also they weren't even allowed to talk above the whisper. They weren't even allowed to run, or even jump and they had to do that till night for two years!! If you drop something like cup, they will get caught easily because there are workers right below their secret annex. I think the only advntage of secret annex is more free on talk and you are with your family is the only good thing. But being in prison is more free on walking and many other things such as able to go to water clost when ever you want and you could walk easily and talk louder. But the relationship and caring, love, and even friendship let them live for 2 years without getting caught.

Blog Anne Frank Queastion number 5: a

I totally agree with this. Because your mind is first of all, invisible and untouchable. Mind s belief I I believe. Because mind matter how you think, what you seen, and what have you done. Even prisoners have mind and we can't stop them. Prisoners have a mind that they will go out what so ever. They always wait fir the day to go out. Like that, Anne and her family was hiding and was illegal to go outside but Anne believed in her mind that one day, we will be free too. Mind is a belief. Putiing wall on the mind is same almost same as putting all on your imagination or imagery. You decide what imagination you will think because you are the one who pick. Thi reason is same as puttinglocks on your mind. Nothing can stop that and will never going to also in the future.

Anne Frank Blogs: Question number 4: Irony

What Mr.Frank think was that why can't Jews do things that others could do. Mr. Frank thinks there is nothing wrong with Anne riding bike and going out but the reality or the true is that she will get beaten up by police or get arressted because she is Jews and Natzies discriminate Jews. If Mr.Frank had let Anne ride bikes and go outside, eventually she would had been arrested or got to go to the settlement camp. Mr.Frank's expectation was that there is nothing wrong with Anne riding her bike. But the reality is that for Jews point of view and most of others, they would th ink "Why not" but Natizes and some others will think Jews are bad and they must obey and listen to Natizes command. The expectation was really the right thing but the reality couldn't be changed. The discrimination of Jews were the relations that create this Irony.

Anne Frank blog question number 3

Play's theme is that showing how much Jew had been treate dunfairly and what actually happend in the situation. The theme is the unfareness and how and what happended in the kilinh or the situation. The play explains the background of how bad condition it was. Such as not allowed to use w.c or water closet basically bthroom because of the sound, can't run, and can't talk above whisper. The author's meaning to readers are that don't treat people fairness becase of their apperance or who they are. Like Marther Luther King, the author also shoeed how untreated people had to live, showing how Anne's family, with almost 8 to 7people, can't go out, or even use the water closet.

The Drama Blogs: Anne Frank Question 2

In dictionary definition:Prejudice is an unreasonable dislike of a particular group of people or things, or a preference for a one group of people or things over another.

My own words: Prejudice is hating or being similar to racist that disliking them by noreasons but mostly by skin color, religion, and also sometimes appearance too.
I have seen prejudice mostly in history book where American's discrimminate the black people or the native amricans. The effects of prejudice is that this problems could lead to a big fight or even a war. Also, more and more protesters will occur.

The Drama Blogs:Anne Frank

What do you know about Holocaust???

I only thing I know about Holocaust is that it is something about killing a lots of Jewsih people. It was unfair killing also. I think the Holocasut was one of major thing that had similary happend to lots of places where peple are discrimminaded. Holocasut is also related with prejudice because basically, prejudice is the major cause of the Holocasut.

The plot of the book "A boat to nowhere"

The plot of this book is that it is flowation of how village people running away from the city people that tries to destroy them. In the exposition, nothing happens but after Kien comes, there is a bad mood or starting becoming curious. There is a lot of turing point in this plot. The first one is that Kien seems like he betrayed the village people(He actually didn't), the nexy turing point is that when Kien really explains what he tried to do. The third one sis when theyt are in the ocean, fighting with storm. The most bigegst two turing points are that first, they found the Outcast island, the last one is that when Mai throws the medicine for savind the people. This story has unexpected turing points and that is why there is so many times where you surprise a lot.

Theme of the book "A boat to nowhere"

I think this book's theme is that person can change by how their enviorment is. Kien had changed alot because of he was staying with the village people. At firstm Kien was unwelcomed to the village but as he go and become used to the village, he start caring about others. For example, when the city people came, it was Kien's idea to pretend that he was agreeing with the cityh people but he wanted to save Mai, Loc, and Grandfather so that the others would think that he sis safe. Even, later, when Loc falled in to the sea filled and full with sharks, Kien jumped into the ocean to save him. Even Mai start to understand him. While traveling, a boat offered Kien only him to come but Kien refused because he cared about his friends or families. The truthfaul theme is that people's mind change as how hard you try and how you act.

Characterization of "A boat to nowhere"

The characterization of Kien is very important and changes a lot. Kien first, is very cold minded and don't respect and care only about himself. But, when Loc is in danger, Kien jumps to the ocean where there are full of sharks, we could see that Kien cares about Loc and he thinkes about others too. He also changes when other members is very sick but only he is okey condition, the people says to Kien onlt he could ride the boat and Kien refuses the deal and he stayes with the memebers. Now, first, Kien was really mean and selfish but as time past by, he show that he cares about other realatives and that he is very kind.

My Sharp(Mechanical Pencil)

I have a very important mechanical pencil in my pencial case. It is the SpongeBob mechanical pencil. It was gift froma girl named Angelina from last school. This sharp, is very ordinary to other people but to me, it has been already a year since I have kept this. In school, you will realize that I'am using this a lot. What I find interesting about is , I never found anyone using this in Korea. I am heading to keep this sharp till end of my death.

Secret

This is story about 2 to 3 years ago. It was when my school went to trip. We sleep on "TCIS GYM". My freind told me who he liked and I didn't mind but it was quite shocking. I knew that if I heard a secret, I couldn't hold for very long time. It was better that I have not heard it. I have kept this secret for one day. The next day, on school bus. I asked if he/she knows who my friends like, and she said yes. I was relaxed and start tallking the story and she at last told me that she was faking me and I was tricked. I just told a whole secret to her. In school, at lunch time, when I was playing basketball, a group of girls swearing at me for that. I used my brain to make up a story. I told them I have got it from the ground. This means that I heard not directly but just heard the words. They got so angry. Finally I realized that this tell me I must not ask for a secret and not try to hear secrets.

Courageous

It was about 2 years ago. I was in the amusement park and I was afraid of the haunted house. I never have tried the hunted house. I tried bumper cars, flash pang pang, and others but I have never tried the roller coaster. I thought I would trapped inside there.
It was evening and suddenly my father asked me if I want to go there? Of course I said I would never go. My father said that men was try this things. I argued that God made female and men equally. We argued a lot about and finally my father gave up. About 20minutes later, I th ought again, "If I can't get through this point, I would not grow". So I said to him to go with me. He was surprised and we went there. There was whole bunch of crappy things there. Skeleton, Dracula, and vampires. I have a really bad habit that if I see a scary movies or pictures, that remind me for several weeks. So I still remember that but I realized that it is all human made.
